Threw another pen today.  The fastball was a lot better, but the Vulcan had an off day.  My slider started to come around some so I am happy about that.  Physically I am feeling really good and it's just a matter of time before everything starts to come together.

Threw another pen today.  Felt a lot better off the mound.  I felt really fluid.  My fastball was better but still wasn't able to hit the corners like I want to.  The slider was terrible today but I'm not to worried about it.  The vulcan was nice and filthy which is good.  Still got a long ways to go but I'm feeling really confident about everything.  #freeboosie  #longlivethevulcan

So I threw my first pen today.  Wasn't very good but wasn't awful.  Had some trouble locating the fastball for some reason.  I guess I was a little amped up.  The vulcan was good though and I was able to locate it.  I feel really good and am excited to be with the cubs.  As always, long live the VULCAN!!!
